Galvanized NailsGalvanized nails are nails that have a zinc anti detterent on them which prevents them from rusting. We carry galvanized casing nails, galvanized roofing nails, galvanized box nails, and galvanized joist hanger nails.Galvanized casing nails are a slender nail with a small, slightly flared head used for finishing work. Available by the pound or by the box. SIZES: 6D, 8D, 16D, 20D Galvanized roofing nails are used for attaching paper or shingle to roof boards; usually short with a barbed shank and a Large flat head. Available by the pound or by the box. SIZES: 7/8", 1", 1¼", 1½", 1¾", 2", 2½", 3" Galvanized box nails have a large flat head and diamond point. Box nails have a slimmer shank than common nails and are less likely to split the wood. Galvanized nails are often used for outdoor work to avoid rusting problems. Available by the pound or by the box. SIZES: 3D, 4D, 6D, 7D, 8D, 10D, 16D, 20D Galvanized joist hanger nails: Structurally rated. Nails have a hot dipped galvanized finish for corrosion resistance.
